Under the auspices of Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince, the National Center for Cybersecurity, in cooperation with Al-Hussein Technical University, launched the National Championship for Cyber ​​Warriors in its first edition, on the 9th and 10th of December, on the campus of Al-Hussein Technical University.

According to a statement by the center today, Sunday, the tournament was launched based on a common vision between the center and the university to empower students who are passionate about cybersecurity and give them the opportunity to develop their skills and prepare them to enter the labor market. them to take on the ultimate challenges.

The closing ceremony of the tournament was held, in the presence of the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Ahmed Al-Hananda, representing the sponsor of the ceremony yesterday, Saturday, the technical partner of the competition, the “Octobian” company, and the developers of the platform on which the tournament was held, the “Yugosha” company.

At the end of the tournament, the names of the winners were announced, prizes were distributed, and the sponsors of the tournament were honored: the Central Bank of Jordan, Cisco, and the Hussein Fund for Creativity and Excellence, in addition to the in-kind sponsors, Zain Jordan and Coca-Cola.
