Dr. Ibrahim Al-Jarmi said that God has the treasuries of the heavens and the earth, but God commanded us to supplicate and said: “Call upon me, I will respond to you,” indicating that one of the greatest things a person calls upon God these days when rain is retained is the initiative to pray for rain.

Al-Jarmi added that the prayer for rain is a manifestation of a true return to God Almighty, so it is true that it is a supererogatory prayer that we pray for rain, but it must precede repentance and return grievances to its people, as well as fasting, which means manifestations of collective repentance.

He pointed out that if everyone is not subject to God, officials and others, then how will the rain descend?

Al-Jarmi called on the Ministry of Awqaf to call for rain prayers, seeking God’s mercy.
