American photographer Andrew Studer took an amazing picture of a person wearing an astronaut suit, in the desert of Algeria, and the picture appears as if the person in the pictures is on the surface of Mars. The American photographer seeks to highlight the beautiful landscapes on the surface of the planet through a series titled “Space to Roam”, that is, a space to roam, according to CNN Arabia.

From views of the surface of the Red Planet in the Algerian desert, to alien-like jellyfish, Studer travels the world in search of places and creatures that make him feel as if he is from another planet.

“While each image in the series shows an astronaut exploring the world around them, the focus is on these unique places, rather than the astronaut,” Studer said.

He stressed that he was inspired by the idea of ​​the series, from his passion for the planet, and says: “I feel that many people do not fully realize how special our planet is, and how much there is still to protect it.”

Studer referred to two factors that must be adhered to, in choosing the first filming locations. The images should not contain iconic landmarks, as Studer aims to focus on documenting lesser-known places to raise the viewer’s question as to whether these images are real.

Secondly, the character in the astronaut suit should actually center the landscape, without having to add it into the image using digital editing tools.

Studer has already filmed scenes for the series in Iran, Canada, South Georgia Island, Antarctica, Iceland, Algeria, and the United States of America.

Studer had difficulty communicating with Niels, who assumed the task of wearing a space suit during the photo session.
