The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission said, on Monday, that the number of cellular subscriptions in Jordan reached (7.4) million, until the end of the first half of this year.

The Commission added, in a statistic published on its website, that the prevalence of mobile phone subscriptions among the population of Jordan, compared to the number of individuals, amounted to 66.5 percent, until the end of June.

She pointed out that the total mobile phone subscriptions were distributed among prepaid subscriptions, with a total of 5.5 million subscriptions, which constituted 74 percent of the total number of subscriptions, and post-paid subscriptions with a total of 1.9 million subscriptions, which constituted 26 percent.
