Yesterday evening, the security services detained the trade union activist, teacher, Ramez Al-Batran, while he was leaving his house, without knowing the reasons.

His family said that Ramez was walking on the main street, and a security patrol stopped him and asked him to show his personal identity, and he was not carrying it, and he phoned his wife to provide him with it, but that did not prevent his arrest.

Al-Batran’s family added that the security services arrested him and they did not know the reason for the arrest, noting that he was still detained since yesterday in Bani Kinana security center.

For its part, the Partnership and Rescue Party denounced the repeated targeting of party member Ramez Al-Batran in several forms of unjustified targeting.

According to the party, Al-Moallem Al-Batran was arrested on the grounds that he was accused of a cybercrime case on a post dated 7-11, calling for his immediate release.
