Jordanian customs thwart the smuggling of a large amount of drugs

The media spokesman for the Jordanian Customs Department said that the cadres of the Jaber Border Customs Center, in cooperation and coordination with the security services, were able to thwart an attempt to smuggle (237) thousand narcotic Captagon pills, equivalent to (42) kg, hidden inside a cavity in the body of the truck (refrigerator) loaded with fruits and coming from one of neighbouring countries.

The media spokesman added that the customs are continuing their efforts in cooperation and coordination with the security services
In confronting the attempts of the masters of smuggling, the dealers of poisons, and striking the sources of drugs with all professionalism and proficiency in the various customs sites and fields of work, within the latest methods and technologies adopted globally; To enforce the rule of law and protect society from dangerous and corrupt materials in all their forms, types, and damages, and to confront anyone who tries to threaten the security and safety of citizens.
