Today, Saturday, the price of selling a gram of 21 carat gold was the most desired by citizens in the local market, at 35.60 dinars for the purpose of buying from Al-Sagha stores, compared to 34.10 dinars for selling.
The selling price of one gram of 24 and 18 karat gold, for the purpose of buying from Al Sagha shops, was 41.70 and 31.90 dinars, respectively.
According to the head of the General Syndicate for the owners of trade shops and jewelers, Ribhi Allan, the price of the Al-Rashadi lira, weighing 7 grams, was 253 dinars, while the price of the English pound, weighing 8 grams, was 288 dinars.
Allan said in a statement to (Petra) that the demand and supply for gold in the local market are in a “weak” state.
And he indicated that the prices of the yellow metal closed their weekly trading yesterday, Friday, in the global market, at $1,750 per ounce.
