The “Lonely Planet” global tourism site has placed Jordan among the 30 best tourist destinations in the world for the year 2023, which travel lovers are advised to visit to enjoy a unique travel experience.

Amman came as the best international tourist destination to be recommended to visit, and the site stated that what distinguished Amman is that it is a “hospitable destination” with a focus on diversity and inclusiveness, as the list issued by the site reviews people, tourism offices and tourist destinations who represent comprehensive stories and experiences for a variety of people around the world in a way that ensures that all races and genders are represented when it comes to travel.

Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Nayef Al-Fayez received an award from the site management during the activities of the Travel Fair in London, praising this announcement, stressing that exploring the Kingdom in a way that gives the visitor a permit that includes the cost of the visa and entry to the most important tourist sites through the unified ticket.

Al-Fayez added, “The list reflects how travel contributes to sustainability, community support and inclusiveness, and showcases the best way to explore the world in a responsible manner.”

For his part, the Director General of the Jordan Tourism Promotion Authority, Dr. Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat, considered that Jordan’s topping in a list issued by an international, prestigious and reliable institution in this way is a real achievement for Jordan, in addition to that this designation will play a major role in increasing the number of new tourists to Jordan.

Arabiyat continued, “This evaluation comes with the return of tourism and the increase in the number of tourists,” adding that this achievement will present Jordan as the ideal destination for tourism.

Lonely Planet magazine mentioned that Jordan specializes in everything that is interesting, as this country has always offered distinguished adventures, but this time it made it easier for tourists to travel.
