Princess Diana’s brother Charles Spencer shared a touching snapshot of the royal family online, days before the release of the latest controversial series of TV series. The Crown.

The Ninth Earl, younger brother of the late Princess of Wales, inherited the family seat at Althorpe estate in Northamptonshire after his father’s death in 1992, and lives there with his third wife Karen and their daughter, Lady Charlotte, according to the British Daily Mail.

And Earl Spencer published, a 33-year-old photo, taken in 1989, standing next to his sister, Princess Diana, and their father at an event on the occasion of his 65th birthday, describing it as a “very touching photo”, and Earl Spencer said, commenting on the photo: “Today is the day of all Souls, when it is customary to remember the souls of those you love, and those who have passed away: it is known in some parts of the world as the Day of the Dead.

He continued: “A very touching photo for me from the summer of 1989, when there was a party at the Althorpe estate for my father’s 65th birthday earlier that year.” In the photo, Charles Spencer can also be seen sitting alongside his father and Diana, the late Princess of Wales.

This comes as the fifth series of The Crownwhich will cover the years leading up to Princess Diana’s 1995 panoramic interview, angered ahead of its November 9 release.
