Compass – Professor of Seismology, Dr. Naji Abu Karaki, said that an earthquake measuring 3.8 struck the northern Red Sea.

Abu Karaki added that the tremor occurred at 6:06 local time this morning, Saturday, February 12, 2022, 32 km south of Sharm El Sheikh, at a depth of about 14 km, according to data from the European and Mediterranean Seismological Studies Center.
