The Independent Election Commission announced that the voter turnout for the elections of board members of the chambers of industry and representatives of the industrial sectors for the year 2022 amounted to 72.81 percent until four in the afternoon.

The Independent Electoral Commission indicated that the first hour of polling, after the quorum was completed, witnessed a remarkable turnout and attendance of voters, noting that the commission had taken the necessary measures to facilitate the voters to receive the electoral cards and reach the polling and counting centers.

The commission also indicated that the percentage of voting in the three chambers of industry was 68.01 percent in the Amman Chamber of Industry, 94.53 percent in the Irbid Chamber of Industry, and 85.99 percent in the Zarqa Chamber of Industry.

She explained that in accordance with the provisions of the Chambers of Industry system and the executive instructions, the polls will close at seven in the evening.
