Michael Bratcher knows no bounds when it comes to age or the number of times he can skydive in a row in 24 hours, as the 60-year-old veteran from Elizabethtown, Kentucky, jumped 100 times in one day on Sept. 26 on Skydive. Kentucky, celebrate his birthday

The first jump took place at 6:35 a.m. local time, and ended its run at 9:05 p.m. local time, taking off and ejecting one Cessna 182 approximately every seven minutes, with a little calm in the middle of the action due to the weather.
Bratcher said he initially planned to jump 60 times for his 60th birthday, in December, researched skydiving records in Kentucky and formulated a plan. “I wanted to celebrate in an unconventional way for a 60-year-old,” Bratcher said.

He then created a GoFundMe page to raise money for the cost, using any excess donations to various charities including Radcliffe DAV, an advocacy group for disabled veterans. From the crew and friends to make the event a success.
He continued, “Everyone was amazing..They were all exhausted but they were exhausted and we had an overall success, reaching 100 together as a team..I have some wonderful dedicated friends – they have been the backbone to making that happen.”
Bratcher said he first skydive at the Fort Campbell Sport Parachute Club in 1988 and that sparked interest, and that he hopes to also break a state record, as he has filed papers with the American Parachute Association and is awaiting certification, according to the association.
