The value of the Kingdom’s oil bill increased by 62 percent

The value of the Kingdom’s imports of crude oil and its derivatives and mineral oils increased by 62 percent, from the beginning of this year until the end of July.

According to foreign trade data, issued by the Department of Statistics, today, Wednesday, the value of the oil bill amounted to about 1.976 billion dinars, by the end of July of this year, compared to 1.219 billion dinars for the same period last year.

With regard to the most prominent imported derivatives, crude oil “petroleum” topped the list of oil derivatives imports in the past seven months of this year, reaching about 521 million dinars, compared to 416 million dinars in the same period last year, followed by fuel and mineral oils with about 518 million dinars. million dinars, compared to 415 million dinars for the same period last year.

While the Kingdom’s imports of diesel amounted to about 437 million dinars, then oil spirits (gasoline) 472 million dinars, kerosene about 9 million dinars, and lubricants about 18 million dinars.
