The Compass – A number of deputies demanded, in a parliamentary memorandum, the parliament’s presidency instructing the government to impose its censorship on what is broadcast by “Netflix” in Jordan.

In the memorandum, the deputies said that they demand the imposition of government censorship on “Netflix” broadcasts of “material that violates public order and morals,” in addition to sending a warning to it.

They added that the network broadcasts content that violates societal and religious values, especially “sexual freedom and encouragement of homosexuality,” which troubles Jordanian society.

The deputies made it clear in the memorandum that they want to preserve society from these concepts that contradict human instinct and lead to the destruction of the family.
