The head and members of the Parliamentary Reform Bloc in the Jordanian House of Representatives mourned Sheikh Dr. Yusuf al-Qaradawi, one of the nation’s great scholars, and its distinguished figures, who moved to the mercy of God Almighty.

The movement said that it recalls in this place and the great affliction the positions of the Sheikh in which he was an imam to be followed, steadfast in the truth and does not budge, and he followed the path of the truthful, the sincere, the Mujahideen, from the people of knowledge, and left the nation a great legacy of knowledge, thought and giving.

On the authority of Abu al-Darda’ – may God be pleased with him – he said: I heard the Messenger of God – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – say: “And the scholars are the inheritors of the prophets.

And the mass in this place and the great affliction recalls the positions of the Sheikh in which he was an imam to be followed, steadfast in the truth and does not budge, and he followed the path of the truthful, the sincere, the mujahideen, from the people of knowledge, and left the nation a great legacy of knowledge, thought and giving.

We ask God to bless him with his vast mercy, to dwell in his vast gardens, and to reward him with the best reward for what he has done and sacrificed for the good of the nation.
