The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate said in a statement, that the specialized teams in the West Irbid Civil Defense Directorate and West Irbid Police Directorate, with the support of the Ajloun and Jerash Civil Defense, have dealt since last Saturday evening with a report that a person has drowned in the waters of the Wadi Al Arab Dam, and immediately the teams moved Diving and police to the site.

He added that after search and search operations that continued since the incident was reported until Monday afternoon, due to the difficult geographical nature, the high proportion of silt, intertwined bushes and limited visibility under the waters of the dam, which constituted an obstacle to search operations at the bottom of the dam, civil defense divers were able to find the body of the young man and take it out. of water and taken to hospital.

The media spokesman indicated that a large number of civil defense salaries, including diving and ambulance teams, and specialized civil defense mechanisms such as water boats, participated in the search and inspection operations.
