Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian discussed bilateral relations and efforts to resolve crises in the region and achieve stability on the basis of regional relations based on the principles of good neighborliness and non-interference in internal affairs.

On Friday, Safadi met Abdullahian, in addition to several personalities, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meetings in New York.

During his meeting with Georgian Foreign Minister, Ilya Darkashvili, Safadi affirmed the joint keenness to continue working to strengthen bilateral relations and activate the implementation of the agreements signed between the two countries, according to a tweet by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday.
