The department called on activists, celebrities, influencers, “Youtubers”, publishers of live broadcast content, video games, activists of promotion and advertising services, or any people who earn income from their activity and their appearance on various social media sites of all kinds, to the necessity of voluntarily taking the initiative to review the department and announce their entry from this activity in order to avoid being subject to fines and legal procedures. that are taken against those who voluntarily fail to register.
It is noteworthy that Article 3 of Income Tax Law No. 34 of 2014 stipulates that any income generated in the Kingdom or earned by any person from it is subject to tax regardless of the place of payment.
