The Compass – Several Arab countries ranked in the top ten in a survey of sentiments conducted by the American research institute “Gallup” for countries that suffer from negative feelings around the world.
The sentiment survey for 2022 included about 122 countries, and about 127,000 people aged 15 years and over participated in it during the period from 2021 until last March.
The survey included several points, including questions for the participants, whether face-to-face or over the phone, regarding positive feelings, negative feelings, stress, and others.
And on the list of countries experiencing the least positive feelings occurred Jordan In seventh place behind Afghanistan, Lebanon, Turkey, Egypt, Nepal and Tunisia, followed by Jordan, Bangladesh, Algeria and Ukraine.
In contrast, Indonesia and Uruguay were the most positive countries.
As for the negative feelings, they came Jordan Fifthly, behind Afghanistan, Lebanon, Iraq and Sierra Leone, and after Jordan came Turkey, Bangladesh, Ecuador, Guinea and Benin.
In contrast, Kazakhstan had the least negative sentiment around the world, followed by Taiwan and Kosovo.
The survey showed that the year 2021 has the most negative feelings around the world compared to the rest of the years, as the rates of tension, unhappiness, anger, anxiety and pain that people feel have increased, due to wars, inflation and the emergence of the Corona pandemic, according to a news report.
The survey said that there are many things that make people unhappy, but that there are factors that are most influential, including poverty, bad societies, hunger and loneliness.
According to the survey, the year 2021 was the year with the most negative feelings around the world compared to the rest of the years, as the rates of stress, unhappiness, anger, anxiety and pain that people feel every day increased.
The poll attributes this to several factors, including wars, inflation, and the emergence of the Corona pandemic, which made the world more miserable.
