Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Administration Tawfiq Krishan demanded that the municipalities provide him with a weekly report on the state of hygiene in their affiliated areas.

This came in a letter Krishan addressed, today, Wednesday, to the directors of municipal affairs in the governorates and districts, after assigning the heads of the joint services councils to carry out cleaning works for window roads, forests, archaeological and tourist sites.

Krishan stressed in his book that appropriate measures will be taken against any head of a service council who fails to perform the tasks assigned to him, and the director of municipal affairs will bear full responsibility for what is contained in the submitted report.
