Compass – The data of the Civil Status and Passports Department revealed the average number of “live” births in Jordan per day last year, which amounted to 514.3 births.

According to the data, the birth rate per 1000 people in the Kingdom was 18.1 births, while the death rate among newborns per 1000 people was 6.0 births.

The data indicate that the sex ratio at the time of birth was 112.5 males to 100 females.

In this context, the death rate in Jordan during one day last year 2021, about 105 deaths.
