He added by saying: There is no rule in the Jordanian state and governments impose a state of national mourning, for the sake of citizens who died because of a major accident that has befallen them, and in my opinion in all countries of the world when such calamities occur, a state of sadness is imposed in society, announcing a state of public mourning for the sake of people at least, Pointing out at the same time that the declaration of mourning means that this government appreciates their feelings and appreciates the state of the tragedy that befell them.

Al-Hourat added, but I think that this message has not reached our government yet, and I do not think that the government’s sense of people’s tragedies and pain has reached the level that is reflected in their decisions.

He said the dialogues: If we want to fulfill our international obligations and do them to the fullest, we must perform our duties towards our society first, because it is more useful before showing feelings to others and respecting their grief and pain that we respect the feelings and grief of our society, and this did not happen in reality, and this contradiction that occurred in the government raises the question Does the government fundamentally represent the interests, feelings, emotions and aspirations of the people or not?

He continued his speech by asking: Is the government just employees who do their work only, and when the responsibility goes away from them, their mission towards their society ends? The ordinary citizen has the right to ask whether this is really our government or someone else’s government, and the government is supposed to feel our feelings and embody them by decisions, and this did not happen and therefore this It increases the estrangement between the government and society and increases the state of anger and the state of tension and distrust between the government and society, because from the first day the government is supposed to announce that this is a major event and the pain of society and the suffering of the injured, and therefore the state must stand with these people.

He stressed that people only asked for a sincere feeling of pain as a moral stance, and it is true that the civil defense men and the relevant government agencies carried out their duty to the fullest, but also people do not wait to perform work only, there are feelings that are embodied in our good society, which is satisfied by real words and attitudes that express The sadness of government agencies and their respect for people’s feelings.
