The media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate said that he was paramedic from inside the Mafraq Police Directorate, who was arrested and suffers from a medical history, after he fell ill and soon died.

He explained that his body was transferred to the forensic medicine department, while a judicial investigation body, in coordination with the forensic medicine department, investigated all the circumstances.

The media spokesperson confirmed that the arrested person had been arrested by the Drug Enforcement Administration following an investigative case in which a quantity of narcotics was seized.
