According to thaipbsworld, when the police arrived, they found the house locked from the inside and had to forcibly enter, then they heard banging from the third floor and found a female in the bathroom.

“Her sister could not contact her for three days, so she asked for help from the police to go see the victim as the front doors were locked from the inside,” said Phra Khanong Police Captain Chanchai Sunsiang.

The woman, who had been living alone, had entered the bathroom on August 22 at about 8 p.m., and was locked up after a door handle was broken until she was rescued. A year after her rescue, she was advised to undergo a medical examination.
