Representative Saleh Al-Armouti criticized the parliament’s use of mobile phones during the parliament’s sessions, calling on the speaker of the parliament not to allow the use of these devices during the sessions.

During the parliament session held to discuss the investment environment bill, the deputy said that the use of phones distracts the deputies, as one of the deputies submitted a proposal, but he did not pay attention to it during the vote on his proposal due to the preoccupation with the mobile phone.

In turn, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abdel Karim Al-Daghmi, responded to Armouti’s demand to ban the phone, saying: “With the use of the phone, the deputies leave the session, let alone prevent its use.”
