The Mayor of Amman, Dr. Yousef Al-Shawarbeh, decided to stop the work of the country’s workers and field cadres for tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday, from twelve noon until four o’clock.
According to the Director of the Media Department, Nasser Al-Rahamna, the decision came due to the heat wave that the Kingdom will witness from tomorrow, Saturday, according to the forecasts of the Meteorological Department.
Al-Rahamneh stressed the necessity of the workers of the homeland, parks and field workers to wear protective headgear from the sun, and to avoid working at peak hours and intensifying heat.
He pointed out that the municipality’s water tanks will spray water by mist method on a number of main streets in various regions, especially the city center.
