The Jordanian Electricity Company has raised its readiness to deal with the heat wave expected to deepen in Jordan on Saturday, the company said in a statement on Friday.

The company said that it had “carried out preventive maintenance for the power lines in order to reduce potential malfunctions.”

And she talked about “there are preparations on the medium pressure network through an automated network that works to redirect the electrical current to deal with the electrical loads.”

She drew attention to “providing a unified emergency number 116, to facilitate the reporting of electrical faults, and to unify the contact reference under one number,” explaining that “citizens can report faults through the company’s application.”
