Hot weather today and a hot air mass whose effect is deepening Saturday and Sunday

Today, Friday, the weather will be relatively hot in the mountainous heights and plains, and hot in the rest of the Kingdom, with the appearance of some clouds at medium altitudes, and the winds will be northwesterly moderate in speed.

According to the Meteorological Department report, the Kingdom will be affected by a heat wave tomorrow, Saturday, and temperatures will rise significantly, and hot weather will prevail in the mountainous heights and plains, and very hot in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with the appearance of some clouds at medium and high altitudes, and the winds will be north East to northwest, moderate speed.

On Sunday, the impact of the hot air mass on the Kingdom deepens, and temperatures continue to rise to record 7-8 degrees Celsius higher than their normal rates. The winds will be southeasterly moderate, brisk at times, and in the evening they are from northeast to northwest.

The Kingdom will remain on Monday, under the influence of the heat wave, and the weather will be hot in the high mountainous heights, and very hot in the rest of the Kingdom, with the appearance of clouds at medium and high altitudes, and the winds will be southeasterly moderate at speed, turning with the evening hours to northwesterly at light speed.

The maximum and minimum temperatures in eastern Amman today range between 35 – 25 degrees Celsius, in western Amman 33 – 23, in the northern highlands 32 – 22, in the Shara heights 31-20, in the Badia areas 38 – 23, and in the plains areas 35 – 25, and in the northern Jordan Valley 41-27, and in the southern Jordan Valley 42-30, in the Dead Sea 41-28, and in the Gulf of Aqaba 42-29 degrees Celsius.
