The Muslim Brotherhood said that the decision of the Zionist occupation authorities for Palestinian citizens to use Ramon Airport (Timna) in southern occupied Palestine for transportation and travel is a new targeting of Jordan at the political and economic levels.

The group added, in a statement issued by the media office, on Wednesday, that the decision to open the airport to the families in Palestine as an alternative to Queen Alia Airport will cause the Jordanian and Palestinian peoples to lose the required community and humanitarian relations that have been going on for decades, as Jordan is the gateway to the Arab and Islamic depth of the Palestinian people.

She called on the Palestinian people to give priority to the interests of the nation and the Palestinian and Jordanian peoples by not using the enemy’s airport, whatever the motives the occupation tries to market for this.

The Muslim Brotherhood follows the decision of the Zionist occupation authorities for Palestinian citizens to use Timna Airport in southern occupied Palestine for transportation and travel, as an alternative to our people in Palestine using Queen Alia International Airport to travel from it to the outside world, which will cause the Jordanian and Palestinian peoples to lose the required and continuous social and humanitarian relations of communication For decades, Jordan has been the gateway to the Arab and Islamic depths of the Palestinian people.

The Muslim Brotherhood believes that this Zionist move represents an unacceptable and dangerous form of normalization that the occupation is trying to impose on our people in Palestine. Therefore, we call on the Palestinian people to give priority to the interests of the nation and the Palestinian and Jordanian peoples by not using the enemy’s airport, whatever the motives the occupation tries to market for the sake of that.

The group considers that the recent Zionist measures represent a new targeting of Jordan, on the political and economic levels, and a violation of its sovereignty, and its direct relationship with our people in Palestine, and a failed Zionist attempt to target the Jordanian role. The features of this Zionist arrogance have appeared since the establishment of this airport, which violates air navigation laws.

The policies and practices of the occupation confirm again and again that the danger posed by the Zionist entity targets Jordan and Palestine together and the Arab and Islamic nation directly. Therefore, we reiterate the need to stop all forms of normalization with the occupation, and cancel all agreements signed with it.
