Al-Khasawneh said, “The Al-Rama electricity transfer project was completed in record time and within one year, as part of the continuous and continuous support for the Palestinians in various fields.”
He continued, “We are absolutely committed to supporting the Palestinians in order to achieve the two-state solution, ensure stability and a just and comprehensive peace…and facilitate the Palestinians’ transit and movement across the King Hussein Bridge to the Kingdom, and from there to the countries of the world.”

Al-Khasawneh, pointed out the rejection of prejudice to the historical and legal status existing in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque / Al-Haram Al-Sharif and the Islamic and Christian sanctities in Jerusalem, stressing the commitment to defending them under the Hashemite guardianship that His Majesty King Abdullah II ably promotes.
The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, said in previous statements that the Al-Rama plant project, which exports electricity to the Palestinian network, is based on what was previously accomplished to provide the Palestinians with electricity, and is fully implemented by the cadres of the National Electric Power Company.

The first phase of the project includes the construction of a 132/33 kW transformer station in the Jordanian-Palestinian border area (Al-Rama area), and it consists of a transfer station (6 cells of automatic breakers of 132 kW and a transformer of 132/33 kV with a capacity of 80 MVA and 3 breaker cells). 33 kV mechanism).
As for the second phase, according to which the Jerusalem electricity will be supplied, which feeds the areas of Jerusalem, Ramallah and Al-Bireh in a way that enhances access to the outskirts of Jerusalem and Bethlehem, it includes the addition of a 132/33 kV transformer with a capacity of 80 MW and the addition of 33 kV automatic circuit breakers, 6 in Ramah transfer station and construction of a transmission line on voltage 33 extending from Ramah transfer to the Jordanian-Palestinian borders.
