The Director of the Meteorological Department, Raed Al Khattab, expects that the Kingdom will be affected next Saturday by a hot air mass, so that temperatures will rise above their previously normal rates, and the weather will be hot to very hot in various regions of the Kingdom.

Al-Khattab added in a press statement this evening, Tuesday, that according to what was analyzed in the forecast center, the hot mass may continue to the first days of September, and that temperatures may reach in the capital Amman and the interior regions at the beginning of next week between 38-39 degrees. Celsius may touch 40 degrees Celsius, while the Badia and Jordan Valley regions are expected to reach between 42-44 degrees Celsius.

Al-Khattab added that the heat wave will be the longest heat wave affecting the Kingdom this summer, which may extend to a week.
