Qatar announces new appointments for Jordanian teachers

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar announced, on Sunday, new appointments of teachers from Jordan and Palestine, in addition to Qatari teachers, according to the Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Joint Services, Ali Al-Buainain.

Al-Buainain said that during the last period, more than 700 teachers were appointed to various government schools in Qatar, explaining that the ministry had recently sent specialized examination committees prepared for this purpose to some Arab countries, especially Jordan and Palestine, where it contracted with the teaching staff that passed the tests. Persons who have applied for teaching positions in the disciplines that were announced some time ago on the website of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar had announced its desire to appoint a number of qualified Qatari and non-Qatari teachers to work in government schools in various academic disciplines.

The required disciplines included English, science, mathematics, physics, social sciences, special education, computer, chemistry, biology, kindergarten, visual arts, and Arabic.

The ministry stipulated that the advanced teachers should have no less than 5 years of experience, and that their academic estimation at the university is very good, in addition to passing the prescribed exams and the personal interview.
