The media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate said that the employees of the Drug Enforcement Administration continued their intensive efforts to follow up and raid the hideouts of drug dealers and promoters.

He added that, during the past 24 hours, the Drug Enforcement Administration carried out raids that led to the arrest of four drug dealers and dealers in the capital and North Shouna in two different cases.

In the capital, a special investigative team from the administration followed up three dangerous people suspected of selling narcotic substances, and after collecting all the information about them, a plan was drawn up to arrest them.

He explained, that when locating them and trying to arrest them, the three people pointed firearms at the force and one of them fired shots at the force, where they were dealt with according to the rules of engagement, and the situation was controlled and arrested, and the firearms in their possession were seized, in addition to a quantity of Narcotics prepared for sale.

In the second case, a security force from the anti-drug raided a wanted person for the trade and promotion of narcotic substances in the North Shouneh region, who is considered one of the most wanted drug-promoting cases in the region. He was arrested and seized from his possession of quantities of narcotic pills.

The Public Security Directorate stressed the continuation of its intensive efforts and qualitative operations in the pursuit of those involved in drug and trafficking cases, pointing out that its procedures have achieved many security gains in confronting drug dealers and promoting them, and that it will not stop prosecuting them until they are brought to justice.
