47 beneficiaries of the Women’s Fund for Microfinance Company participated in the Amman Summer Festival, which will continue until August 20.

The company, according to its statement today, Thursday, provides free participation in a bazaar organized by the company as part of the festival’s activities and in cooperation with the Greater Amman Municipality, through which it allows its beneficiaries to display their products, which range from popular foods to heritage textiles and handicrafts.

CEO, Lama Zawati, said, “The company has been constantly participating in the festival’s activities since 2010, with the exception of canceling the two festival sessions during the past two years due to the restrictions imposed by the Corona pandemic, before returning to its previous era in its current session.”

She pointed out that its beneficiaries participating in the festival’s activities were selected from all the company’s branches spread throughout the Kingdom, with the aim of providing the opportunity to participate for every ambitious woman, and the diversification of the projects they represent in the festival bazaar was taken into account.

CEO, Lama Zawati, confirmed that the continuous participation of the company’s beneficiaries in the festival falls within the many non-financial services that the company provides to its beneficiaries, in order to maximize the opportunities for them to benefit and open up horizons for them to promote their various and diverse products.

She noted that it seeks by all available means and means through a series of activities and programs, which fall within its social responsibility, to enhance opportunities for effective participation in front of its beneficiaries, which is in line with the company’s ultimate goal of empowering women in various areas of life, especially the economic and social ones.

The company’s statement quoted its beneficiary, Ahlam Al-Najdawi, who displays food products made by her own hands in the bazaar, as saying that her participation in the festival enabled her to market her products and achieve financial returns from selling them without incurring any additional costs.

She pointed to the appropriate logistical environment provided by the company, in addition to the services it provides to its beneficiaries in the festival free of charge, which formed a strong motivation for the participation, which benefited her and her family, she said, describing her participation in the festival as “wonderful and fruitful.”

While Zain Abdel Razzaq, who participates in the bazaar through the presentation of “Ready Home Accessories”, considered that her participation had a moral impact, in addition to the material impact, especially that her participation provided her with the opportunity to build new relationships, whether with customers or with women who have “high ambitions and distinguished projects”, with a limit. her expression.

She said: “The organization is excellent, transportation is available to the parks, and there is a free transportation service inside the parks,” stressing that I will continue to participate in the future in the festival, in addition to benefiting from participation in various exhibitions, bazaars and activities, which the company provides free of charge in support of its beneficiaries.

Manal Al-Obaidi, who presented various “homemade” products, described the organization of the festival as “wonderful, and the treatment of the employees of the Women’s Fund Company is excellent, and the place is supported, with people’s advice to come and see the women’s products here.”

The Amman Summer Festival was launched on the 11th of August, where the festival activities began on the Roman amphitheater on the first and second days, and the activities will continue for the rest of the festival days in Al-Hussein Gardens.
