The media spokesperson for the National Aid Fund, Najeh Sawalha, said that it is not correct to spend 220 dinars for each citizen.
Speaking to Hala News, today, Saturday, Sawalha confirmed that the security services are following up on the launchers of fake links claiming that the fund paid 220 dinars to each citizen, denying the validity of this, and warning against opening those links.
Sawalha said that every week, fake links spread claiming to disburse amounts, whether from the fund or from other institutions, indicating that they are fake links that should not be opened to avoid fraud and fraud.
In a subsequent statement, the fund warned of the existence of fake pages on social networking sites and the “WhatsApp” application that deceive citizens.
He said that the scammers send messages to some citizens that they need to open an electronic wallet and deposit a sum of money in it to transfer the cash support to them, while some of the fake pages publish a phone number claiming that the fund will contact them after they call the number, and some fake pages claim registration for royal generosity and monthly aid. .
He called on citizens to obtain information from the fund’s official website or its page on the social networking site Facebook with a blue mark, noting that the fund does not have any accounts on social networking sites except for the verified accounts: Twitter: (https://twitter.com/NAFGOV_JO), and Facebook : (https://facebook.com/naf.gov.jo).
The fund stressed that it will pursue the publishers of any forged pages through the competent authorities to take the necessary legal measures against them.
