The head of the Society for the Preservation of the Noble Qur’an, Mr. Nidal Al-Abadi, revealed that the society had received a financial donation from the student, Maryam Muhammad Ali, who scored 98.85.

Al-Abadi said through his Facebook account, “In a beautiful gesture, the Yadoudeh Quranic Center presents a portion of the points (300) dinars, thanks and appreciation for the center’s role in making its supremacy.”
Al-Abadi congratulated the students through his personal account on Facebook, saying, “Congratulations to everyone who is truly successful. Blessings to him, his family, teachers, school, and his country…and good luck to those who were not able to pass high school this year, good things come.”
And the Society for the Preservation of the Holy Quran, which was established 31 years ago, runs about 1,050 Quranic centers. Distributed over the regions of the Kingdom, and includes 163 clubs for memorizing and teaching the Noble Qur’an to children.
The association granted 15,000 licenses to recite the Qur’an, while it graduated more than 8,000 memorizers of the Qur’an, and it organizes dozens of Qur’anic projects.
Activists launched early this summer to defend the Society for Preserving the Holy Qur’an in the face of what was described as “official restrictions” on its activities by closing the “Quranic Child Clubs.”
The campaign came as a result of new instructions from the Ministry of Endowments to organize the work of Quranic Child Clubs last March, and commentators considered that the amendments would “close the clubs and not modify their work.”
