In a disastrous situation, a negligent Japanese policeman lost important documents and investigations that included personal information of more than 400 people, including a suspect in a crime, and the details revealed that the loss of papers occurred while the policeman was drunk and fell asleep during service.
A Japanese police official explained that the 49-year-old policeman lost the bag containing the documents in the western Hyogo region between eleven o’clock on Friday evening and five in the morning last Saturday, according to the Emirati Al-Ain website.
The Japanese official revealed that the documents include names and addresses, without giving further details, and prominent Japanese media, quoting police officials, reported that the policeman went out to drink alcohol with his colleagues and then fell asleep while returning home while the bag was in his possession, and when he woke up he found Himself near a train station, and was unable to find the bag, according to Japanese media.
This incident is not the first time that similar incidents have been recorded in Japan. Last June, the Amagasaki city authorities reported that a contractor lost a bag containing a USB memory stick containing personal data of the 460,000 residents of the area after he went out to drink alcohol. Then he fell asleep on the road on his way home, but the bag was found the day after the news broke.
