The Secretary-General of the Partnership and Salvation Party, Salem Al-Falahat, said that we do not know despair and we have pledged ourselves since the first day in the party on that, even if some see that the world has become darker and corruption has become rampant and that there is no benefit in national work.
The peasant women added in a press conference for the party, on Wednesday, that we are determined to continue with our national project, but the citizens’ complaints must be heard, not just our complaints in the party, noting that the party is participatory and will not exclude others no matter how bad they harm it.
He pointed out that the Jordanian people tried to build initial foundations 100 years ago in 1920, and then in the first parliamentary government in 1956 through an elected representative government, but the building was demolished after only 5 months, so political parties were dissolved, partisan work was demonized, unions were dissolved, and martial law continued for 35 years. years old.
He said that the people entered the one-vote divided tunnel in 1993 as a prelude to the Wadi Araba agreement, and when the Jordanians tried again in 2011 and were optimistic about a new start, they discovered after only one year that it was just a bend in the political system of the storm.
The peasant women wondered if reliance on keeping citizens busy by securing their livelihood and feeding their children is a guarantee to prevent a blind popular explosion that we do not accept and do not want for our people and our country.
He stressed that these steps are the guarantor in confronting the Zionist threat, which came within the hidden provisions of the Balfour Declaration, from the exploitation and consumption of the Jordanian economy, the law of the Jewish state, the rejection of the two-state solution, the continuation of settlement, Judaization and forced displacement, which they seek to make Jordan a Jordanian issue.
He said that one of the biggest burdens is the astronomical indebtedness and the resulting unprecedented unemployment that threatens to explode and a huge rise in prices. Unfortunately, reports indicate that Jordanians are the people most searching for immigration.
And he indicated that the gang of corruption and tyrants roamed in the name of the state on the livelihood of the citizens and the poor, so that the state was no longer able to fight and prosecute the corrupt.
Regarding the field of public freedoms, Al-Falahat explained that the situation and scene are very clear, not the latest of which is the arrest of the writer Al-Rusan, as well as the young man of his twenties, the stronghold Anas Al-Jamal, who was arrested more than once because of a tweet.
He said that talking about building a democratic state has shown with experience that they are all fake slogans and that what is given with the right hand is withdrawn with the left hand, and what we took with constitutional amendments we lost by regulations and laws.
He pointed out that all government propaganda in support of political parties is met with demonization of reality, targeting and attempts to turn the rules against the leaders and attempts to sow differences.
The farmers stressed that the Partnership and Salvation Party does not complain to anyone, but rather raises the voice of the citizen.
He reviewed the circumstances of the party’s establishment, indicating its complete dependence on the articles of the constitution related to the establishment of parties, and King Abdullah II’s statements about parties, royal discussion papers and other indicators related to building a democratic state and public freedoms, among others.
He said that what we have found on the ground is that the government and security services practice harassment and demonization against political parties, to the extent that Jordanians see that any talk of reform and democracy means that the exact opposite will happen.
He added that Jordanians experienced greater freedoms during the era of martial law than the current situation.
He stated that the government allows parties that are made on their own to organize events, while preventing serious parties from any activity.
The peasant women reviewed the period of banning the party from the court for a period of 3 months due to a complaint from the government, but the judiciary, thankfully, rejected the complaint.
And he indicated that the party does not ring the bell, but it repeats the bell for the sake of the homeland and its interests, despite the cost of working with the Partnership and Salvation Party.
He pointed out that the security services have deviated from their course and role and are chasing citizens for their livelihoods because of their political positions, indicating that we stress the need for state agencies to remain in place, but we seek to return them to their correct and constitutional path.
He warned the peasant women against the continuation of this official policy against the Partnership and Salvation Party and the rest of the parties.
He called on peasant women all the living forces in the country not to stand by or sigh while the country is retreating, but being slaughtered and its official institutions dwarfed, calling for unity on a comprehensive national program that restores things to their rightful place and is not discouraged by corruption or threat.
