Today, Friday, the head of the Hamas movement abroad, Khaled Meshaal, visited Jordan on a visit described as social and family.

Mishaal performed Friday prayers at the mosque of the founding king in the capital, Amman, and also visited the graves of his parents.

Mishaal said, “May God have mercy on our beloved parents and grant them the highest paradise, and reward them on our behalf, and for all our fathers, mothers and loved ones.”

And he continued, “After dawn today, Friday, my Lord honored me by visiting the graves of my honorable parents.”

The authorities had previously allowed Mishaal to enter the kingdom to attend his mother’s funeral, and for other family visits.
