The Public Security Directorate issued a clarification on what pages and accounts on social media platforms circulated regarding a video clip described as an ambush carried out by criminal investigation men, to arrest a dangerous wanted man.

The Criminal Investigation Department confirmed that whoever appeared in this video dressed as a delivery company, is indeed one of the criminal investigation survivors, as part of a mission to arrest a wanted person who robbed a person under threat.

The Criminal Investigation Department indicated that, after searching, investigating and collecting information, which determined the suspect’s movements, it carried out the ambush that led to his arrest.

It indicated that it resorts to this type of ambush in line with the philosophy of security work and the instructions issued to carry out the tasks of searching and investigating and arresting criminals, by smart means and methods that are implemented efficiently and quickly, while avoiding any possible material or human losses among security men or citizens.
