Today, Tuesday, the popular campaign to defend the Noble Qur’an launched an “electronic signatures campaign”; In support of the Society for the Preservation of the Qur’an, and in refusal of the restrictive measures against it.

The campaign organizers called on the Jordanians to sign, to have a share before God in protecting the Society for the Preservation of the Holy Qur’an from the recent restrictions practiced by the Ministry of Endowments against the Society.

The coordinator of the popular campaign to defend the Noble Qur’an, Ibrahim Mansi, told Al-Bawsala: “The campaign has many events that it is working to organize to support the Society for the Preservation of the Holy Qur’an.”

He continued, that there are national figures who joined the campaign, stressing the continuation of the movements rejecting the ministry’s restrictions on the association.

Mansi stressed that the campaign activities will not stop until the Ministry of Awqaf retracts its actions against the association.

He explained that the electronic signatures supporting the Society for the Preservation of the Qur’an will be placed in the hands of officials in the country to know the size of the supporters and beneficiaries of the Society, and to put pressure towards restoring the work of the Society as before without exercising unjustified pressures and restrictions and opening closed centers so that it can carry out its work to the fullest in the service of the Holy Qur’an and pioneers of the association.
