According to Oregon State University, neurological symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency include numbness and tingling in the hands and feet more commonly.

Others include:

Oregon State University warns that “although the development of neurological complications is generally gradual, these symptoms may not reverse with vitamin deficiency treatment, especially if they have been present for a long time.”

General signs of a vitamin B12 deficiency include:

– Inflammation and redness of the tongue.

Mouth ulcers.

Blurred vision.
