The Acting Secretary-General of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, Nadia Masalha, said that the new Al-Iman Governmental Hospital in Ajloun is now fully providing its services.

Speaking to Jordan TV, today, Wednesday, she confirmed the completion of the first and second phases, and the start of work on three floors of the new hospital, where emergency departments and outpatient clinics provide their services duly to citizens with ease, noting the existence of external service buildings.

“The Ministry of Health has started transferring the contents of the old hospital to the new hospital,” according to the engineer, Al-Masalha, who indicated that “as soon as the furniture has been moved, the need for the old building will no longer exist, so it will be demolished to start the third stage.”

She pointed out that the rest of the floors will be received upon the total completion of the third and final phase, which includes the establishment of administrative offices and teaching halls only, stressing that this phase does not affect the work of the new hospital and the provision of services in it.

She noted that the ministry is working to start the third phase in the near future, and is expected to finish it by the end of next September.
