Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs confirmed that it is following up, through the Jordanian embassy in Jakarta, the dispute that occurred between members of the Jordanian and Lebanese teams participating in the 2022 Asian Basketball Championship.

And she said in a press statement today, that she had contacted the president of the Jordan Basketball Association, Muhammad Alyan, who is communicating with the Jordanian ambassador in Jakarta in this regard.

She indicated that the ambassador is with the delegation of the Jordanian national team participating in the tournament, and continues to follow up on the issue with the Secretary of the Jordan Basketball Association, Nabil Abu Atta, and the Lebanese Embassy in Jakarta.
