A cow escaped in the city of Kostanay in Kazakhstan, terrified while being transported to the altar during the Eid al-Adha period. It ran about half the area of ​​the city, and raided everyone who got in its way, injuring 3 people. Despite all this, it was only possible to arrest her after a great effort, and after a video clip of her great escape spread, she became a star on social media.

Volunteers concerned with protecting animals were impressed by her determination to escape from the butchers’ knives, and later learned that her name was “Nadezhda”, meaning “hope”, and that she was the mother of a small calf. And her very exciting escape ended with an unexpected conclusion, and it seems that a new life was written for her, as one of the city’s residents cared about her, bought her for 480,000 tenge, equivalent to $1,000, and handed her over to a volunteer with a needy family. With her story, perhaps not knowing, people learned that cows do not only give milk, but also lessons in clinging to life.
