74,000 visitors to tourist and archaeological sites during the Eid holiday

The total number of visitors to the tourist and archaeological sites in the Kingdom, both citizens and Arab and foreign tourists, during the Eid al-Adha holiday, amounted to about 73,624 visitors.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, today, Thursday, the number of visitors to Petra was about 11,500, Wadi Rum 6,000, Ajloun 5,500, Mount Nebo 4,600, Jerash 3,700, while the rest were distributed to tourist and archaeological sites and museums in various governorates of the Kingdom.
In statements before the Eid al-Adha holiday, the ministry confirmed the readiness of the tourist and archaeological sites and full readiness to follow up on tourism activities during the holiday.
She indicated that she had taken, in cooperation with the General Department of Antiquities and the Tourism Promotion Authority, many measures to prepare and prepare sites to receive citizens and Arab and foreign tourists and to provide them with distinguished tourism services.
She indicated that a complete plan was developed and field teams formed on duty from the concerned authorities during the Eid holiday, to follow up the procedures and services provided to tourists and visitors around the clock, in addition to communicating with the tourism sector, and receiving inquiries and proposals to reach the best services.
