The Independent Election Commission called on candidates for the provincial and municipal council elections and the Amman Municipality Council to remove all aspects of electoral campaigning related to banners and advertisements.

In accordance with the executive instructions for the rules of electoral campaigns for provincial council elections, municipal councils and the Amman Municipality Council, the candidate must remove all propaganda materials within a period not exceeding seven days from the day following the polling day. The competent authority to remove these materials at the expense of the candidate without the need for notice.

It is noteworthy that the elections for the governorate councils, the municipal councils, and the Amman Municipality Council took place last Tuesday, 22/3/2022.
