The famous instant messaging application “Facebook Messenger” of the company “Meta” (formerly Facebook) announced that it has tested a new and free feature to collect debts and financial receivables immediately.
Meta announced in a statement that it is testing the “Split Payments” feature, which it notes is a “free and fast way to share the cost of bills and expenses” related to a group dinner, shared home expenses or monthly home rent.
She explained that the feature will be located within a group chat or in the payments center in “Facebook Messenger”, and in order to use it, you must press the “start” button, and then you can choose to divide the amount of money equally or determine what each person owes, in addition to that The service operator can include himself among the convicts.
The money will be sent through Facebook Pay, and after sending, the request will be sent to the group’s chat room.
And Meta added that the new service (separate payments) will be available to users within America only, starting next week.
