Our national gymnastics team player, Ahmed Abu Al-Saud, won the bronze medal, in the “Horse Handles” device, in the third round of the Gymnastics World Cup series, which started last Thursday in the indoor hall complex at Cairo International Stadium in the Egyptian capital, with the participation of 281 male and female players representing 35 countries.

Yesterday, Abu Al-Saud succeeded in qualifying for the final scene of the handles device competitions after he finished fifth, and in the final competition that took place today, Ahmed Abu Al-Saud managed to continue his brilliance and finished third after collecting 14.53 points, which is the same balance collected by the Armenian player Harution Mardinian. -The latter outperformed due to fewer discounts by the jury-, while Irish player Reiss McClinaghan, bronze medalist of the world championships in 2019, was crowned first and gold medalist after collecting 14.97 points.

It is noteworthy that Abu Al-Saud was crowned last September with the gold medal on the same device in the fifth round of the World Challenge Cup series, which was hosted by the Turkish city of Mersin, to complete today his series of achievements and gift Jordan a new medal in his career.
