On Saturday, the great Lebanese actor, Antoine Kerbage, passed away at the age of 87.
Kerbaj is a theatrical and actor who presented during his artistic career a lot of theatrical and dramatic works, and also participated in several Syrian series with director Najda Anzour. Kerbage started his career in the 1960s, where he joined the Modern Theater Institute of the Baalbek International Festival Committee, directed by Mounir Abu Debs.
The late artist contributed to the establishment of the Modern Theater Troupe and was a member of it, as this group played a leading role in the theatrical movement in Lebanon and the Arab world.
Among his most prominent works in soap operas: Les Miserables – The Inspector – Barbar Agha – Ishtar – Leaves of Bitter Time.
Kerbage also played important roles in the plays: Youssef Bey Karam – Oedipus the King – Physicists – King Yamout – The Governor – The Roman Commander – The Ruling of the Shepherds – One Thousand and One Nights.
